Ukraine, Geo-Politics and Maritime Education - The 1st Olesen Conference on Shipping and Trade
Event Description
A two-day international conference for business professionals, researchers and students at CBS on November 14-15, 2024.
The purpose of this conference is to connect our new partner, Odesa National Maritime University (ONMU), with a global network of researchers, business professionals, and students.
We invite researchers and students from CBS' partner universities in Odesa, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Piraeus. In addition, we extend invitations to Danish and international business and government officials.
The theme of the conference is “Ukraine, Geo-Politics, and Maritime Education”.
The conference is divided in three parts:
- The Future of Maritime Education
On the morning of Day 1, there will be presentations from CBS' partners, where we will exchange experiences in teaching and research related to shipping and trade.
- Geo-Politics and Trade in a Post-War & Post-Election Era
The afternoon will feature keynote speakers, focusing on the topic of "Geo-Politics and Trade in a Post-War & Post-Election Era." Day 1 will conclude with a Gala Dinner, celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the International Shipping and Trade Program at CBS.
