Maritime Research Alliance Research Festival 2025

GRAND CHALLENGES, SECTORAL TRANSITION, AND THE ROLE OF RESEARCH

On 15 May 2025 Maritime Research Alliance is organizing a maritime research festival at University of Southern Denmark in Odense.

This is your chance to get inspired by the state-of-the-art in maritime research in Denmark:

  • Meet the researchers at the 35 poster sessions and learn about ongoing research projects (see presentations below)
  • Attend panel debates with experts from the maritime research community on hot topics such green transition, geopolitics and digitalization.
  • Join us for the keynote speak by economist, historian, and journalist Marc Levinson  - author behind the book The box: How the shipping container made the world smaller and the world economy bigger
  • Participate in the Maritime Research Alliance 5 years anniversary reception and the conference dinner.
