Dear Master’s Student,

Are you considering a career in research? Would you like to explore the possibilities of continuing your academic journey after completing your Master’s degree? We are excited to introduce a new interest group at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), dedicated to Master’s students who are considering a research career.

The aim of the group is to facilitate a network of current researchers, PhD students, and like-minded students, where we can offer insights into the PhD journey, research projects, and other academic opportunities. We also aim to create a forum for discussion and knowledge-sharing among students contemplating a career in research. Additionally, we want to share what life as a researcher looks like, and how research experience can complement more practice-oriented jobs or tasks.

What to expect:
At the first meeting, newly enrolled PhD student Johanna Rungholm—who holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from CBS—will share her thoughts on pursuing a PhD and a research career, as well as her own path to getting there. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and gain insight into the thought process and transition from Master's student to PhD student.

We invite all interested Master’s students to join our first meeting, where we will also present the vision for the group, discuss upcoming activities, and hear your expectations and wishes for the group.
