Exploring New Perspectives on Change Toward a Sustainable Economic Future
- Maj Larsen-Lechuga, Financial Secretary, Rethinking Economics Denmark will provide perspectives on how to change the current economic paradigm through education. In her presentation, she will talk about how ecological economics can serve as a powerful tool for integrating planetary boundaries into economics education.
- Christoph Houman Ellersgaard, Assc. Prof. Department of Organization, CBS will bring social class and economic inequality into the discussion of the green transition. He will argue that we need a much stronger awareness of social class in the green transition, and that this awareness must be integrated into climate politics.
- Mads Falkenfleth Jensen, Director & Founder, Wellbeing Economy Lab (WELA) presents WELA’s perspective on how to transform the current economy into a wellbeing economy.
- Christian Bason will share insights from his tenure as a CBS Leader in Residence, suggesting that strategic leadership must embrace a wider and more diverse set of stakeholders – an actor ecosystem. To enable long-term transitions towards a sustainable economy within planetary boundaries, we don’t only need new policies or technologies – we need new ways of leading. This has implications not only for strategy, but for how we design organizations and how we conceptualise the very notion of leadership: From individual to collective, from controlling to empowering and from fixed to emergent.
