Voluntary Code of Conduct for Diversity in Management and Board Recruitment - 27 February 2020

Event Description

Welcome to the first annual workshop on the voluntary code of conduct for increasing diversity in management and board recruitment. The purpose of the workshop is to present a preliminary analysis of the reported 2018 figures and within the group of recruitment firms to discuss how we move towards increased gender diversity in management and board recruitment. The workshop is open for all recruitment firms. Regardless of whether your firm has signed the code of conduct or not, join us in a workshop on how we can improve recruitment processes and how the future reporting and work with the code of conduct should be shaped.

Recruitment and search firms play a central role in finding and recommending candidates for key positions in Danish organizations. Therefore, they are well positioned to influence and ensure a foundation for diversity, in particular towards creating a more equal gender mix within Danish boards and management. Women are still highly underrepresented in top management positions in the Danish business community – but there is a growing understanding that diversity is an important contributor to value in business. This is why the voluntary code of conduct has been created.
