Dear colleagues at SI, EGB and MSC, 

We would like to invite you to the CBS Paper Development Workshop with Journal of International Business Studies on the 13^th of March in Kilen. Here is our agenda for the day:

10.00 – 10.10: “Why JIBS? CBS perspective” Introduction by the Area Editor Dana Minbaeva
10.10 – 11.00: “Publishing in JIBS” by JIBS Editor-in-Chief Alain Verbeke
11.00 – 11.30: “How to avoid a desk-rejection at JIBS” by JIBS Reviewing Editor Grazia Santangelo
11.30 – 12.00: “When I review for JIBS … “ by JIBS Editorial Review Board member Marcus Møller Larsen
12.00 – 13.00: Lunch and roundtables with CBS faculty who have published in JIBS
13.00 – 13.45: Paper 1 
13.45 – 14.30: Paper 2
14.30 – 14.45: Break
14.45 – 15.30: Paper 3
15.30 – 16.15: Paper 4
16.15 – 16.30: Conclusion and main take-aways
16.30 – 18.00: Friday Bar in SI Lounge

If you would like to present the paper, please contact Dana Minbaeva dm.si@cbs.dk. Every paper will get 20 min presentation + 25 min discussion. When submitting your request for paper presentation, please:

(a)    include the title and the abstract, 
(b)    explain the stage of the paper development (Is it an idea for a potential paper? Is it a work-in-progress? Have you already presented this paper at the conference? Is it a ready-to-submit version?) and
(c)     tell us what kind of feedback you would need.

We will accept the submissions until February 29. We will let you know whether or not your paper in included in the program by March 2. If your paper doesn’t make it to the program, we will arrange an informal feedback from one of the JIBS Editors or Editorial Board members.
