Information Session on international CBS Alliances – Get to know SIGMA and Aurora!

Event Description

Learn with students in Japan, Singapore, Spain, Italy, France, UK, Austria or Germany

The session is aimed at second semester Master students at CBS interested  in the

  • SIGMA Alliance on “Managing the SDGs” (read more here)
  • Aurora Alliance on “Social Entrepreneurship” (read more here)

 

At the session we will introduce you to both alliances and outline how CBS offers on-campus electives in person lectures (unless there is a lockdown)

  • in which you interact with students from the partner universities
    (e.g. Japan, Singapore, Spain, Italy, France, UK, Austria or Germany).
  • learn how to work in virtual intercultural teams spanning multiple timezones


During the lockdowns we all have experienced how difficult virtual teamwork can be. In the courses offered by the SIGMA and Aurora alliance you will be introduced to diverse theories about how to increase the effectiveness of virtual group work on topics of global relevance.

Moreover, the Aurora alliance also offers the possibility of Erasmus+ travel grants. CBS students can apply to have travel costs covered related to education as well as service learning and internships related to social entrepreneurship.
