Talk by Mark Stabile, Professor of Economics, INSEAD
Event Description
Causes, consequences and solutions to changes in Inequality
Countries worldwide have seen a marked increase in both income and wealth inequality in the past decades. While the top 1 percent is capturing much of the rewards the income growth for the majority of people in the western world has been stagnant. In this talk I will focus on the causes, consequences and solutions to these changes.
The talk will be moderated by Lotte Folke Kaarsholm and will be in English - and it is open to all: welcome!
Mark Stabile is the Stone Chaired Professor in Wealth Inequality and a Professor of Economics at INSEAD. He directs the James M. and Cathleen D. Stone Centre for the Study of Wealth Inequality.
The talk is part of the national Science Festival 2019 and is hosted by the Business in Society Platform Inequality at Copenhagen Business School.
