Maritime Research Alliance PhD network visit to MAN ES
Event Description
On 13 october from 13.30 to 15.00 Maritime Research Alliance will organize a company visit to the works largest producer of two-stroke ship engines MAN Energy Solutions.
The developers and manifacturers of marien engines are key to the green transition of international shipping.
At the visit we will learn how the company is working with the green transition - including the development of engines that can run on alternative fuels - and how they view the future development of alternative fuels in the coming decades.
After the visit we will go to a nearby café and get something to eat and drink.
The visit is only for PhD fellows and postdocs.
