Addressing Employee Well-Being Through Music and Adaptive Leadership

How can the lens of music and the art serve as a resource for improving the well-being of employees – in particular the younger generation?

Copenhagen Business School, VELUX Auditorium
Monday 11. December, 10:45-12:15

Music as an art form requires leadership harmonizing tones, aligning pitches, and synching rhythms. The collective effort shapes a communal experience that transcends individuality.

The orchestra conductor exemplifies this unity by combining diverse instruments into a symphony. This process mirrors leadership, enabling individual talents to resonate together, yet allowing each unique timbre its moment.

At this session, conductor Andreas Vetö and members of the Danish Chamber Orchestra showcase how to master the "art of listening and experiencing" through music 💡.

Andreas Vetö also contributes to a panel discussion with CBS researchers and leadership practitioners addressing employee well-being through music and adaptive leadership. Pernille Steen PedersenMichael PedersenLea ThingmannFrancesca Mus will join Andreas Vetö in the panel.

The event is part of ISLC - the International Studying Leadership Conference, which is one of the largest international leadership conferences in Europe. Copenhagen Business School is host, and CBS Leadership Centre is proud sponsor.
