Mexico, as an oil-producing nation, has faced challenges in its path to producing green energy. The transition process is long, takes time, and requires important financing. Decisions must be taken to ensure the country’s energy self-sufficiency. International commitments on sustainability, coupled with the ongoing nearshoring process in Mexico, indicate that the transition process is gaining speed. Two major infrastructure projects, Plan Sonora, and the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec in Oaxaca State, revolve around green energy.
This lecture is specifically designed for students enrolled in the Energy Transition for Sustainable Development in Latin America [http://kursuskatalog.cbs.dk/2023-2024/KAN-CCBLO2301U.aspx] course. However, we are pleased to extend an invitation to those not currently registered in this course.
We have a limited number of seats available for external participants, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage early registration to secure your participation.
