The Future of Sustainable Finance - Nordea Sustainable Finance Advisory

Event Description

Isabella Frenning Willis, Sustainable Finance Advisory Lead Denmark, Nordea Investment Banking
Guðrið Weihe, Head of Sustainable Finance, Kommunikredit
Trine Vesterled, Senior ESG Analyst, Nordea Asset Management

The market for bonds in sustainable formats (i.e. Green, Social and Sustainability-Linked) is relatively new but has seen rapid developments since the first Green bonds were issued two decades ago. This workshop will be facilitated by market practitioners who based on relevant data will invite participants to engage in a discussion of forward-looking questions, including:
  • Where will the sustainable bond formats be 5-10 years from now?
  • What about transition finance?
  • What will the European Green Bond Standard (EuGBS) mean for Green Bond issuances in Europe?
  • Will fear of greenwashing keep issuers from using the formats in the future?
  • Will green become less important as we transition towards greener business models overall?
The debate will be moderated by Isabella Frenning Willis
