By taking part in this workshop, you will gain an understanding of:
The purpose is to understand how you - as business school students, faculty or staff - are addressing the issue of climate change, and discuss your understanding and expectations of the role of government and the private sector.
What CBS faculty say about the Carbon Literacy Workshop:
"The Carbon Literacy Workshop is a key valuable resource, that encourages participants to take a direct dive into carbon accounting engaging them with exercises and sharing data on the GHG emissions of products and activities in our daily lives.
The program is extremely helpful and should be a requirement to all CBS students, and all University students. Working to limit climate change requires that all businesses and societal organizations understand their carbon footprints, the meaning of science-based targets, and the need to report continuously on their decarbonization process. Carbon Literacy provides a strong head start in this education and offers links to further resources, tools, and guidance of value to all students interested in building their knowledge on how to properly calculate their GHG emissions." (Maria Figueroa, Associate Professor in Sustainability Management, MSC)
