Training Day 1: Learn to solve a case



Welcome to the first Training Day!

In this session we will teach you the fundamentals of case solving and guide you through the different steps in a case solving process:

  • What is a case competition really? 
  • The case solving process
  • Solving the right problem
  • Introduction to SCQA
  • Exercise
  • Finding the right solution
  • Components of a great case answer
  • Issue trees and brainstorming
  • Tips and tricks for solving sustainability cases
  • Questions


The session is hosted by Ida Kirstine Hansen from CBS Case Club. Ida is an experienced case competition participant and former representative of CBS in international case competitions.
