MRA PhD network excursion to Port of Aarhus

On 7 September the MRA PhD network will organize a study trip to Port of Aarhus.

It is possible to go with bus from Copenhagen Central Station (Ingerslevsgade) or organize your own transportation and meet us at Port of Aarhus at 12.45. 

Program:

Transportation Copenhagen-Aarhus
8.50 We meet at the bus stop at Ingerslevsgade (by Copenhagen central station) 
9.05 Departure with bus from Copenhagen (lunch buffet on the ferry Odden-Aarhus)
12.30 Arrival at Aarhus Havn

Visit at Port of Aarhus (Vandvejen 7, 8000 Aarhus)

12.30-13.30 Presentation by Mads Søgaard and Andreas Hermansson from Port of Aarhus on the green transformation and strategic development of the port (Vandvejen 7, 8000 Aarhus C).

13.45-14.45 Guided tour around the port by bus with Andreas Hermansson from the Port of Aarhus

15:00-16:00 Visit to APM Terminals with presentations on their logistics activities, green transition, digitalization and automation.

16:45 Departure with bus from Aarhus (dinner buffet on the ferry from Aarhus to Odden)
20.15 Arrival at Ingerselvsgade (by Copenhagen Central Station)


Please sign up asap and no later than 25th of August as I need to book tickets for the bus etc.

The cost of transportation and lunch+dinner buffet on the ferry is covered by Maritime Research Alliance.
