The Uncomfortable Conversations in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Looking forward to inviting you to the Entrepreneurship track, named 'The Uncomfortable Conversations in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem,' hosted by CSE Sustainability Day.

Join us when we’re exploring areas within entrepreneurship and sustainability that we might otherwise shy away from or avoid—topics uncomfortable to bring to the surface and that are overlooked in today’s fast-paced reality.

This track will consist of three connected sessions - you will however also get something out of just joining one of them.

The program will be moderated by Katrine Asp-Poulsen, Leadership and Strategy Advisor.

1. Keynote: Being a green activist in business – generosity versus greed

  • Jacob Jelsing, Chairperson of the board & co-founder Gubra & Chairperson of the board Planetary Impact Ventures.

Jacob Jelsing is a biologist and green activist by heart who ended up in business taking a start-up company to public listing. In this keynote, Jacob will share his story from untraditional career steps, to business dilemmas and decision makings towards a strong CSR commitment. The talk will end with his perspective on future business concepts and where the world should be heading.

2. Identifying the uncomfortable tensions we need to address to pave the way for a sustainable transition for entrepreneurs

In this session, we’re aiming to explore pain points and tensions that entrepreneurs, startups and ecosystem actors experience in their roles when it comes to being a part of the sustainable transition needed. We will collectively source perspectives and insights from the researchers, the founders and the audience, ensuring we build on the expertise and experience from the invited speakers together with the audience.

3. Workshop: Unlocking Potential in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: Connecting Sustainability with Inner Development Goals

  • Anna Taws, Regenerative Change Maker & Inner Development Goals Coordinator
Anna Taws will facilitate an interactive workshop where participants will reflect on their role in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and face complex sustainability challenges using the Inner Development Goals. She’ll bring her experience and understanding of regenerative change-making and the framework of the Inner Development Goal to guide the participants to reflect and build muscles to be proactive in making the entrepreneurial ecosystem more sustainable.

Why should you attend? Now more than ever, the entrepreneurial world demands innovation and resilience. We're diving deep into the very challenges that define this landscape, unpacking the discomfort and embracing it as a catalyst for innovation. It's time to strengthen our collective muscles, to foster a more sustainable and thriving entrepreneurial community. Don't miss out—be part of the proactive dialogue shaping the future of resilient entrepreneurship.
